Our Help Comes From The Lord

OUR HELP COMES FROM THE LORD

1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121, NIV).

Prayer:
Our help comes from the Lord. Send your angelic help to Los Angeles Lord. Put your trust in the Lord not the hills in Hollywood. People’s homes and livelihoods are in total devastation. Money, wealth, and riches cannot save you from the raging fire naturally or eternally. It even jumped highways. The winds have made it ferocious. Praying for a rain miracle, a divine outpouring of rain. Buildings have just been incinerated. People are homeless. Extraordinary disaster. God did not bring this disaster but he can help those caught in it. He brings good out of evil.

Psalm 121 teaches us what we keep forgetting—that we do not have to live in fear because we have a God who keeps us.

A word for Los Angeles: Your help is on the way from the Lord. It does not come from Hollywood but from the Lord, the creator of those hills - the Maker of heaven and earth. Look up, your redemption is nigh.
